What this program covers
What this course covers
Most businesses spend time watching competitors without a clear method. This course introduces a repeatable 4-step framework for competitive analysis, covering data collection, gap identification, and translating findings into decisions. Sessions are built around real market scenarios, not hypothetical examples.
Who the course is designed for
The course suits product managers, marketing specialists, and business owners who already operate in a defined market and want to assess it more rigorously. Participants should have at least 6 months of professional experience in their field. No prior analytics background is required.
Tools and methods used throughout
Participants work with 3 primary research methods: structured SWOT analysis, share-of-voice measurement using publicly available data, and customer review mining across at least 2 platforms. Each session introduces a specific tool - including SEMrush for traffic estimation and G2 or Trustpilot for sentiment patterns - and explains how to interpret outputs without over-reading the data.
What participants leave with
By the end of the 6-week program, each participant completes a documented competitor map covering a minimum of 5 direct rivals, with annotated weakness profiles and a prioritized list of positioning opportunities. The deliverable is practical and immediately usable, not a classroom exercise.
Program structure
Each stage builds on the previous one. The sequence is deliberate - theory first, then application, then reflection on what the data actually means for a business decision.
Modules combine short reading segments with interactive quizzes. You get scored feedback immediately, not after a waiting period.
